How Facial Pore Cleaners can effectively clean your face

Cleaning the face regularly is a must to keep the skin clean. We take bath and wash off any dirt that is in our body and the facial skin similarly needs cleaning to rid it of dirt. But the facial skin is very different and more delicate than the body skin. It needs special treatment.

The skin has pores. These pores accumulate dirt and dust. They also store oil or sebum in them. Once in while the skin may accumulate excess white blood cells and clog the pores. To avoid blackheads and acne, it is important to keep the pores clean. A good skin care regimen is essential to keep the skin clean and pores breathing. Regular exfoliation is a part of good skin care. Exfoliation is a way to remove dead skin cells, dirt and oil from clogged pores.

There are several products available in the market to clean the pores. Some of these products are in the form of masks and others cleansers. All products are not meant for all types of skin. While selecting a product, choose something that suits your skin type.

Women also can avail grooming in the salon or parlour. They can ask for facials of various types that include exfoliation as one of the services. What we should understand is that regular cleaning and care results in good looking skin which is healthy and looks young.

While getting salon treated is the best way, if its not possible, there are other ways to keep the skin clean at home.

  1. Steaming – it is inexpensive and easy. It is highly effective for removing dirt and dust from clogged pores by opening them. There are electrical steamers available in the market. They are easy to use, just fill them with water to the required level and switch the machine on. If you do not have access to the steamer, use a pan to heat water. When the water is hot enough to produce steam, remove the pan from the heat. Using a towel, cover the head and lean over the pan. Don’t let any steam pass through. Let the steam wet your face the next ten minutes. Pat dry the face and use a toner or moisturizer afterwards.
  2. Sugar for exfoliation – sugar is a good exfoliator. It acts like a pore cleaner. Use this pore cleansing mask once every week to rid your skin of oil. Take two tablespoons of sugar. Crush them into powdered form. Mix in the juice of half a lemon and some water to make a paste.

Apply the paste on the affected skin. And rub gently in a circular motion. Rinse afterwards with cool water and moisturize.

  1. Baking soda is available in every home and has many uses. Mix a tablespoon of baking soda and water. Make a paste of the two and apply on the face. Rub in a circular motion and leave it on for few minutes. Rinse off with lukewarm. Use this pore cleansing mask twice every week.
